When it comes to the use of condiments nothing is completely off-limits; however, what we do recommend is exercising moderation and common sense. The excess calories associated with additional sauces, seasonings, and flavors can have a major impact on your results. There are plenty of zero/low-calorie options available, these should be your first choice.

The take-home message is this; use only the bare minimum, as all additional calories count, and remember, consistency is key.
